Bucharest – In the Black Sea, just off the Romanian coast near Costinesti, an explosion occurred on Monday. The Romanian media reported, citing civil protection workers and eyewitnesses. The explosive device is probably a Russian sea mine, a spokesman for the Romanian Navy told TV station Digi24. According to civil protection, no one was injured.

Navy divers are now on their way to the site of the blast, as another mine has been spotted floating in the sea nearby, said Colonel Corneliu Pavel, spokesman for the Romanian Naval Forces.
