After multiple soccer stars, Canal+ is in turn betting on Saudi Arabia. The Vivendi group’s encrypted channel announced on Tuesday that it has acquired the broadcasting rights to the Saudi Arabian football championship, the Saudi Pro League.
The channel has purchased the rights to the next two seasons of the championship, with three matches broadcast each week on Canal+ antennas in France. The next season begins on August 11. The broadcast will start with Al-Alahli vs Al-Alhazem match this Friday at 8pm.
