With best times in all seven special stages, Simon Wagner and co-pilot Sigi Schwarz secured victory in the millstone rally in the Perg area on Saturday. The reigning state champion’s most stubborn pursuer was Martin Rossgatterer. He was the only one of Wagner’s competitors who was able to keep the gap under a minute, but had to give up on the last special stage due to a technical defect. So Ford driver Peter Eibisberger inherited second place. Third place went to Christoph Zellhofer. “It was a wonderful rally with extremely demanding special stages.
