Al-Marsad Newspaper: Nutrition expert, Dr. Ahmed Kamal, talked regarding the method of healing with hunger, stressing that it is better than healing by eating.

And Kamal explained, through a video of him on the TikTok application, that abstaining from food and making the body eat itself by itself from the inside and get rid of fat, helpless and dead cells and stimulate the immune system is much better than recovering through diets or following diets and taking vitamins for long periods.

He pointed out that this method has been proven by recent studies when it found the benefits of fasting, especially intermittent fasting for a period of 16 hours.

He added that if the focus in the remaining 8 hours is on foods with beneficial fats, high-quality food, and a low-carbohydrate diet, this will be reflected in mental health, activity, and sleep.
