Taking into account the heat wave that is hitting the south of the country, it is important that you pay attention to your vehicle, as it might overheat if you do not follow some recommendations. The mechanic Arcadio Rosario points out that you must verify the good condition of the hoses, belts, the cleanliness of the engine and that there is no liquid spill. “The main thing is that the car releases the steam that it has inside, so roll down the windows,” recommends the mechanic before using the air conditioning.

People should take care of burns caused by seats. Waiting two minutes with the air conditioning on for the vehicle to “steam off” helps prevent certain accidents when getting into the car.

Taking care of the car’s paint is the most difficult, since it is one of the parts with the most wear and exposure that exists in a vehicle. The sun’s rays “damage”, in a certain way, the painting. However, leaving the car in the shade or covering it to avoid contact with the sun are ideal solutions.
