This year’s Onagosh of the New York-Westchester Malayali Association will be held on September 9th from 11 am to 6 pm at the Greenburgh High School Auditorium (475 West Hartsdale Ave, Hartsdale, NY). Organizers informed that no entry pass is required.
West Chester’s Onam celebration is also a meeting place for religious harmony. Every year, the officers of the association take care to make it one of the biggest Onam celebrations in America with artistic performances and delicious food. Famous restaurants in New York have been commissioned for Ona Sadya.

The Sheingari Melam, which is attended by fifty people, is a special feature of this year’s Onagosh. Similarly, there will be a mega Thiruvathira. This year’s celebrations have been organized with programs such as Athapookalam, Thiruvathirakali and Pulikali among the programs that begin with Chendamela and welcoming Maveli Tampuran with talapoli.
President Terenceon Thomas, Secretary Sholi Kumbalavelil, Treasurer Alexander Varghese, Vice President Anto Varki, Joint Secretary K.G. invite all the Malayali brothers who are residents of New York to make the Onagosham a success.
