In the first competitive game of the new season in the first round of the DFB Cup, Borussia Mönchengladbach recorded a clear 7-0 victory at Oberliga side TuS Bersenbrück and thus confidently advanced to the next round of the competition.

After a few minutes, however, the foals might have fallen behind, captain Jonas Omlin (29) prevented the early 0:1 from Gladbach’s point of view with a strong double save.
