Pocket PC with Windows 11 and 5.5″ display launches in Japan

The Asus ROG Ally and Steam Deck are portable PC gaming consoles and have proven to be able to run Windows without any major issues. Following this line of thought, a Japanese company called Gloture launched a “Pocket PC” that runs Windows 11, has a touch screen and allows several types of wireless and wired connections, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI , USB-C, RJ45, among others.

Called “Nano PC”, the computer has a 5.5-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and runs Windows 11 Pro. it is thicker than a current cell phone. Internally, this PC uses a 2.7GHz Intel Celeron J4125 processor with UHD 600 graphics chip, 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM memory and 128GB of eMMC storage.

Its minicomputer battery is 2500 mAh and there are several ports to connect cables and memory cards. You can insert a microSD card, connect a wired headphone with a 3.5mm plug, an HDMI cable, a USB-A cable, a USB-C cable and even an ethernet cable, as there is an RJ45 port. In addition, you can connect it to a Wi-Fi network or a Bluetooth headset.

Release and availability

Gloture’s Nano PC is already on sale for approx. US$ 585 (84.700 ienes) no site Rakuten. However, it is not possible to buy it outside Japan, that is, either you travel there or buy it on eBay from someone who is selling it.
