KOMPAS.com – Former NOAH guitarist, Mohammad Kautsar Hikmat or Uki, revealed how his wife first responded when he found out he was leaving the band.
Uki admits that when he left NOAH, the band he founded and made a name for himself, he did not tell his wife first.
Uki only told his wife, Metha Yunatria, following returning home in a condition that had already resigned from NOAH.

“But when I left, I didn’t say anything to Metha, when I came out, I went home and told meta ‘I’m out,’ said Uki as quoted from The Sungkar Family’s YouTube channel, Friday (10/8/2023).
After learning that he had really resigned from NOAH, said Uki, his wife cried sadly.
“After the new official statement he cried,” said Uki.

However, Uki said, his wife’s tears were not because her husband left NOAH, but because it was hard to leave NOAH’s management friends and personnel who were like family.
“Metha cried not because of me but because the wives of other NOAH personnel were like family, Mrs. Acin was really like family,” said Uki.
Uki did not deny, he might feel the sadness felt by his wife.

Uki can say that because he also actually feels sad because he remembers how to leave people who are like family but in the end have to separate because of life choices.
“I am also sad because the separation from his family was not because of his gig,” said Uki.
It is known that Uki has been a NOAH guitarist since his first formation, still called Peterpan.

Uki, who has raised NOAH since its founding in 2000, finally decided to leave in 2019.
Meanwhile, NOAH currently consists of Ariel, Lukman, and David.
The only remaining personnel from the initial formation were Ariel and Lukman.

Meanwhile, David just joined in 2008.
So far, NOAH has not decided to look for new personnel to replace Uki and Reza in the drum position, who left earlier.
