[이코노미스트 이지완 기자] Hyundai Motor Group is not sparing its full support for the members of the Jamboree. Even Hyundai Motor Company President Jang Jae-hoon personally came forward to encourage the members.

According to the Hyundai Motor Group on the 11th, the group continues to support the Jamboree members from six countries who are staying at four training centers, including the Human Resources Development Center Mabuk Campus, Kia Vision Square, Kia Osan Education Center, and Hyundai Engineering Blue Monte.

Hyundai Motor Group spared no support for the safe and comfortable movement and enjoyable viewing of the Jamboree members participating in the ‘K-Pop Concert’ held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam this evening. In order for the members to fully enjoy the K-pop concert, a separately produced star-shaped luminous light stick, various snack sets, and raincoats were provided.

Nametech was also provided and distributed to ensure the safety of the crew members before and following the event. In Nametek, in addition to the names of each crew member, the number of the vehicle they moved, the contact information of the guide and the accommodation are written in English and Korean. The group logo was also attached to the luminous cheering rod so that it might be identified.

On the fourth day of enlistment, the Jamboree members spent a meaningful day in Korea this morning as well, participating in the experience program prepared by Hyundai Motor Group or digesting the schedule according to each country’s own plan.

The Dutch and Finnish Jamboree members staying at the Mabuk Campus of the Human Resources Development Center had time to experience Hyundai Motor Group’s robots and future mobility. Through demonstrations by researchers, the crew watched the various movements of Boston Dynamics’ four-legged walking robot ‘Spot’ and multi-purpose mobile platform ‘MobED’ and advanced air mobility (AAM). I experienced the flight with a virtual reality (VR) device.

Some members had time to learn Taekwondo Poomsae and Songpan breaking techniques. They also enjoyed traditional Korean games such as Jegichagi, Yutnori, Toppinning, and Gonggi, as well as racing games on a driving machine.

Hyundai Motor Company President Jang Jae-hoon visited the Mabuk Campus that day, looked around the programs in which the Jamboree members participated, and once once more meticulously checked for any inconveniences such as lodging, meals, and medical care.

President Jang Jae-hoon encouraged the staff and asked them to “do their utmost to support and considerately so that Jamboree members from around the world can finish their schedules in Korea safely and healthily and return home.”

The El Salvador Jamboree members staying at Hyundai Engineering Blue Monte had time to make bracelets, hand mirrors, and mobile phone Griptok using traditional Korean craft materials and techniques such as knots and mother-of-pearl. At the site, Jaime Jose Lopez, Ambassador of El Salvador to Korea, visited and encouraged the members by participating in the program, and expressed his gratitude to Hyundai Motor Group.

The Hyundai Motor Group plans to provide meticulous support and consideration until the end so that Jamboree members from around the world can finish their schedule in Korea in a safe and comfortable environment.
