Between May 11 and July 31, 10 offenses were recorded and 12 arrests took place. Ten suspects were brought before the investigating judge in Dendermonde (province of Eastern Flanders) and placed under arrest warrant. Three other people were arrested as part of the investigation. They stole the cards of very old people to withdraw money or make purchases.

The local police recommend never giving the codes of your bank card to a third person.
