A group of people, belonging to left-wing groups, set fire to posters of Together for Change (JPC) and garbage cans at the door of the General Pueyrredón municipality, in Mar del Plata, this Thursday followingnoon.
They did it in protest of the death of Facundo Molares, the protester who broke down in the Obelisk areain Federal Capital.
The fire occurred at one of the access doors to the Municipal Palace located on Hipólito Yrigoyen and Avenida Luro. The flames reportedly reached the steps and the front door, but were extinguished before they spread to the building.
In repudiation of what happened in the Capital, some people set fire to the electoral banners that were at the entrance to the municipality, causing the fire to spread to the waste bins located on the sidewalk.
