The pre-candidate for governor of the province of Buenos Aires and mayor of Lanús, Néstor Grindetti, and the candidate for community chief of that municipality and head of local security, Diego Kravetz (Together for Change), suspended their campaign for the Step on Sunday following the death of a girl who was attacked during a robbery by two motorcycles in Villa Giardino, Lanús Oeste.
In this context, they reported from the municipality of Lanús, the officials met urgently and “are working in a Crisis Committee so that the Nation and the province of Buenos Aires respond and guarantee security in the area.”
An event was scheduled for tomorrow with the presence of presidential candidate Patricia Bullrich and Grindetti at the Lanús micro-stadium, at the closing of the campaign for the Paso on Sunday.
Morena’s death
As indicated by the municipality itself, “during this morning, 11-year-old Morena was attacked by two criminals who were riding a motorcycle a few meters from the Almafuerte Technical School No. 8. During her robbery, the men hit her on the head and her minor was unconscious. The brunette was quickly transferred to the Evita Interzonal Acute Hospital, where she died 20 minutes following being admitted.
Kravetz released a public letter in which he states: “In this same neighborhood, a month ago, I stopped a motorbike with my bare hands that was stalking the neighbors and I am still giving statements in Justice.”
“Let’s see guys if we understand where reality comes from,” concluded the communal chief of staff and mayoral candidate.
The event occurred minutes before 7:30 this morning when the victim, identified as Morena Domínguez, was assaulted when she arrived at the Almafuerte School No. 60, at 3500 Molinedo Street, in the town of Villa Diamante.
Another unfortunate fact of insecurity that shocks us and saddens us terribly.
My accompaniment to the Morena family. The entire security team is there. @lanusmunicipio working to find those responsible. https://t.co/5VFRl7NZU4

The sequence was recorded by a security camera that is now key to trying to identify the perpetrators of the act in the context of a case that, according to sources, will end up labeled as homicide.
In the video it is observed that Morena falls to the asphalt when she is approached by the two motorcycles, following which the one traveling as a companion gets out to grab some of her belongings and then re-boards the vehicle to escape.
Patricia Bullrich’s tweet
The presidential candidate mourned the death of little Morena.
Again the pain. Now with the murder of Morena, 11 years old. All my accompaniment and support to family and friends. We cannot continue living with so much anguish and fear. This no longer works. They transformed Argentina into an unlivable country.

Milei’s tweet for the murder of Morena
The Libertad Avanza candidate, Javier Milei, also questioned the political class regarding the murder.
TRAGEDY IN LANÚS
The Lanús tragedy in which an 11-year-old girl was murdered by a motorcycle when she was going to school has a very clear person responsible: a political class that for decades has defended a model of impoverishment and Zaffaronism that generates criminals without…
