SHARJAH, 9th August, WAM/ His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Rector of the University of Sharjah, and a high-ranking academic delegation from the China University of Political Science and Law, headed by Prof. Dr. Zhang Baojue, Vice President of the University, discussed ways to enhance joint academic cooperation between the two universities in the field of law and political science through Through the exchange of students and faculty members, and the organization of scientific conferences, activities and events.
During the meeting, the Rector of the University of Sharjah stressed the University of Sharjah’s prestigious status locally and internationally, headed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, President of the University, and that it was ranked among the best (251-300) universities around the world, according to the classification of the Times Higher Education Institution. .
He also stressed the importance of cooperation with the University of China, which he described as one of the best law universities in the Republic of China, and that cooperation between them would support students and faculty members in the two universities through the exchange of knowledge and experiences in areas of common interest.
He pointed out that the infrastructure that distinguishes the University of Sharjah in scientific research contributes to supporting the educational process in cooperation with its various colleges, institutes and research centers, as well as laboratories and scientific facilities that keep pace with the latest technological technologies.
For its part, the Chinese delegation expressed its happiness at visiting the University of Sharjah, describing it as one of the best universities in the Arab world, and praising the recent scientific and research development, stressing the Chinese University of Political Science and Law’s endeavor to build bridges of cooperation and strengthen joint relations with the University of Sharjah.
The two sides discussed future areas of cooperation in various fields of law, politics, economics, arts, history, philosophy, engineering and science.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Amina Al-Marzouqi, Vice President of the University for Student Affairs and Branches, from the University of Sharjah, and Dr. Essam El-Din Ajami, Vice President of the University for Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation, along with a number of deputies, heads of departments, and members of the teaching and administrative bodies, while it was attended by Professor from the China University of Political Science and Law. Dr. Lu Shanlong, Deputy Executive Dean, Ding Shujie, Director of Foreign Affairs of the International Law School, Li Nan, Director of the Alumni Office, and a number of deans, vice deans and department representatives of the university.
