The Bulaq region witnessed a heinous murder, in which a street vendor was killed, at the hands of his wife and her lover, following disputes arose between the victim and his wife.

The whole matter was presented to the Public Prosecution, which decided to arrest and bring the accused, and a careful research plan was drawn up to uncover the details of the incident and whether or not the wife was behind the victim’s death.
After following in the footsteps of that plan, it was concluded that the victim is a street vendor who is married to the accused, with whom he had three children, and that he recently moved to the property in the place of the incident, accompanied by his wife, children, siblings, and mother.
The investigations also found that a person, H.H., frequented the victim’s house and that he had a friendship with the victim and his wife, and that the accused frequented them continuously, and before the incident, a verbal altercation occurred between the victim and his wife, which developed into the wife’s request for divorce.
After that, a decision was issued by the Public Prosecution regarding the arrest and bringing of the accused, and several missions were prepared, where it was possible to reach her presence in the Ismailia Governorate, her hometown, in coordination with the Public Security Sector and the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ismailia Security Directorate. Her three brothers, her three children, and her lover.
Confronting her with the incident and accusing her husband’s brother, she acknowledged and confessed that two years ago she left the marital home and went to the Ismailia governorate, leaving her home, her husband, and her children. Where her husband sought the help of a family friend, “H.H,” to go to the Ismailia governorate to mediate between them and her husband to solve them, but she refused at first.
During that period, a forbidden love story arose between her and the mediator, which developed into an illegal relationship, following which the wife returned to the marital home, and the relationship continued to date. There were many meetings between them, most of them in the marital home, taking advantage of the absence of the husband. The matter settled with their permanent residence and sleeping with their family members, which angered her husband, the victim.
And the accused says in her confessions: “I am 28 years old, and what happened is that I got married when I was nearly fourteen years old, and my husband is 13 years older than me, and we lived together in the Bulaq al-Dakrour area.” And regarding the beginning of the dispute between them, the accused said, “After our marriage, my husband used to work for a day and ten, no, and I used to work with him selling children’s toys.”
The accused added, Josie was always taking narcotic substances, and on the day he went to buy the drug “hashish” and when he came home, I had prepared the tools that he used to drink kif, and when he came back we took marijuana together.
And regarding the beginning of the betrayal of her husband, the accused says, “My husband used to work in selling children’s toys, and he used to take those toys from a merchant called “H”, who is the father of the so-called “H”, the second defendant in the case, and four years ago there were disagreements between me and my husband, so I left the house for four years, and asked From him I got divorced and I rented my own apartment. During that period I got to know my lover “H” and we had a forbidden relationship several times. One day we tied my husband’s feet and hands, and I wore a yellow nightgown and we had a forbidden relationship in front of my husband.
After that, the wife and her lover began to assault the victim, tying him with chains, and then throwing him from the balcony on the second floor of the house, which caused his death.
After the wife confessed to the incident, she and her lover were referred to the Cairo Criminal Court, which charged them with murder, and issued a 20-year prison sentence for the defendants.
