The return of good weather suits the open-air cinema projects of the ASBL Culturalité and the Center culturel du Brabant wallon (CCBW). This 12th edition – the previous ones were a success – relies on family programming, often humorous and fairly recent. In summary: eight different films in eight locations in seven municipalities of Brabant Hesbaye, in Beauvechain, Hélécine, Incourt, Jodoigne, Orp-Jauche, Perwez and Ramillies. Elise Vincke (CCBW): “This open-air cinema tour has become an unmissable event in the east of Walloon Brabant in the summer. The idea is to bring life back to the heart of the villages. This is thanks to partnerships with associations or local committees that we have been able to work so well in the past. With them, by investing in places to live in the villages, we create links”.
In the program ? On August 18, at Hélécine, on the Brouc site, The Lulus War, a moving film that retraces the odyssey of four boys who, in the middle of the war, behind enemy lines, want to reach Switzerland. On August 19, on the occasion of the Sentiers de Sart-Risbart, The concert. On August 24, in the municipal orchard of Beauvechain, The little Nicolas. On August 26, in Orp-Jauche, as part of Scène de villages, Ernest and Celestine. On September 8, in Incourt (garden of the municipal administration), The worst neighbor in the world. On September 9, in Thorembais-les-Béguines (forecourt of the church), as part of the Scène de villages de Perwez, The three Musketeers. On September 15, in Ramillies (municipal administration site), Untouchables. On September 16, in Jodoigne, at the Château des Cailloux, as part of the open doors of the CRABE, The Little Band.
Each session is free and scheduled at dusk, which means that the times are variable. They can be viewed at www.culturalite.be.
