– WWE Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with video of The Usos defeating Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank. Commentators welcome us
– The Usos make their entrance. They claim people were saying Reigns mightn’t be beaten, but he was beaten at Money in the Bank!
Paul Heyman cuts them off and arrives with Solo Sikoa by his side. He’s defense counsel tonight and he’s going to show us the first defense exhibit. The Usos tell him to shut up. Paul Heyman tells them that there is only one man in WWE who can tell Paul Heyman to stop talking. Solo Sikoa puts his hand on Paul Heyman’s mic and throws the mic out of the ring. Roman Reigns’ music hits and he enters.
The Tribal Chief asks Madison Square Garden to recognize him and goes on to say that he was indeed pinned. But there is still the Tribal Chief! Roman Reigns is trying to find out who wanted to sue, who put him in this situation? The Usos release the first exhibit that shows how Roman Reigns was able to talk to The Usos, Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa. Roman Reigns says he’s not like that. He did it for Jey, for Jimmy, for Solo. He was doing WrestleMania Main Events before the Bloodline. He doesn’t need the Bloodline, the Bloodline needs him. He did it for the family and what they do is compile his worst moments for his kids to watch.
Roman Reigns says he’s done with all that. He drops his microphone and removes his lei to put it around Jey Uso’s neck. Roman Reigns also takes off his belt and gets on his knees in front of Jey… he kicks him in the private parts! Jimmy Uso attacks Roman Reigns then Solo Sikoa comes to defend Roman Reigns. The latter does a Superman Unch to Jimmy Uso and sends him out of the ring.
The fight continues in ringside. Solo Sikoa places Jimmy Uso on the commentary table then splashes him from the barricade. Roman Reigns celebrates by raising his belt next to Solo Sikoa.
– Jimmy Uso is transported in an ambulance.

At the end of the match, Pretty Deadly arrives to prevent Sheamus from winning, Ridge Holland and Butch come to defend their teammate but Austin Theory takes the opportunity to roll up Sheamus in order to remain champion.

– It’s time for the Grayson Waller Effect. The wrestler asks us to welcome an 11 times World Champion, a Hall of Famer, the Rated-R Superstar: Edge! The latter enters. Grayson Waller tells him to make the big announcement.
Edge asks him what he is talking regarding. He’s celebrating 25 years in the WWE, celebrating tonight and next month in Toronto.
Grayson Waller says Edge is too embarrassed to say it. Walelr wants to know why is back. Edge replies that it’s for the fans. His first PPV was SummerSlam 1998, he was Sable’s mystery partner once morest Mark Mero and Jacqueline. He had entered from the crowd. From that night onwards, fans opened their arms to her. Respect is hard to earn in New York. It’s a city full of hardworking people and big dreamers, that’s what it is, even today.
Grayson Waller says Edge’s big announcement is that he’s retiring, that’s the last time we see him in Madison Square Garden!
Edge tells him that last week he was once morest John Cena in London. Today, he faces Edge in Madison Square Garden. But Waller hasn’t had a Main Roster match yet. It’s time to swim or sink. Edge is not retiring but in addition, he will have a match tonight: Edge once morest Grayson Waller!

At the end of the match, AJ Styles made his Phenomenal Forearm on Karrion Kross to win by pinfall.

– Asuka enters and says that nobody is ready for Asu… Bianca Belair arrives to attack the champion but Charlotte Flair also arrives and a fight breaks out between the three wrestlers. Iyo Sky attacks Asuka with her briefcase and Moonsaults her. Iyo Sky was going cash-in but Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair prevented him from doing so.
– New historic WWE footage from Madison Square Garden is released.
Edge vs Grayson Waller
At the end of the match, Grayson Waller goes back to the ring and Edge gives him a Spear followed by the fall to win.

– After the match, Edge tells Grayson Waller that he swam.
– Backstage, Paul Heyman informs Roman Reigns that Jey Uso has returned to Madison Square Garden and is looking for him. Roman Reigns says he won’t be looking for him long because the Tribal Chief will be in the ring.
– Next week on SmackDown: Asuka will defend her WWE Women’s Belt once morest Bianca Belair.
– Roman Reigns is in the ring alongside Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. Reigns says it wasn’t enough the first time, so he’s going to do it a second time: he asks Madison Square Garden to recognize him.
The Usos music hits and Jey Uso comes out from the crowd. He attacks Solo Sikoa who was blocking his way. Jey Uso grabs a chair and gets in the ring to attack Roman Reigns. Solo Sikoa arrives to defend the Tribal Chief but he is the one who takes the chair shots!
Jey Uso holds Roman Reigns’ belt and challenges Roman Reigns to a one-on-one match!
