Last Wednesday, Activision confirmed that they’re finally officially launching this year’s Call of Duty this week, and we don’t have to delve too deeply. The game’s lead developer, Sledgehammer, gave us a trailer confirming that this year’s game is called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and will release on November 10. It also has John Price warning us not to bury our enemies alive, and then a brief image clearly shows that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II’s post-credits scene with Vladimir Makarov citing a 2009 The “No Russia” mission in MW2 apparently teased what awaits us in this sequel. We’ll see if that means Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s missions are as controversial as 2009’s, or not three months later. Expect to learn more in the days and weeks following the game’s launch event i Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
