The Tiktok twins recently announced their split.
It came as a shock to fans when Tiktok stars Lisa and Lena Mantler (21) announced their end as a duo at the end of last week. According to reports, both had apparently already thought regarding how they should continue individually. Lisa seems to have found the answer relatively quickly.
A few days ago, the YouTube account “JonaLisa” appeared, where you can already see shorts from her honeymoon with husband Jonas. He, in turn, added the link to Lisa’s website to his Instagram bio. By the way, the website was already registered on June 23rd. There is currently no change on Lena’s profile.
An insider said to “Bild”: “Jonas was not officially the reason for the separation of the twins, but the fact is: Lena felt more and more uncomfortable and did not want to be the third wheel on the car. She was afraid that she would only be a minor matter in the videos and would be completely lost. Lisa and Lena are such different personalities and honestly had to separate so that both can continue to be happy and earn money. »
“We may be twins, but we have different talents”
On August 4th, the two had uploaded their breakup video to Instagram. They answer a few questions from the time together, thank their followers and say: “There are boy band breakups, and we have our boy band breakup too.” The twins make it clear in the video that they didn’t have an argument. “We’re still siblings,” says Lisa, “we see each other all the time. Just not you anymore.”
So Lisa said: «We knew that we would not work together for the rest of our lives. Now it’s just time that we go our separate ways.” Lena asked: “Can we actually separate if you start as a duo?” She also added: “Of course it’s a bit sad. But we haven’t made the typical Lisa and Lena videos for a long time.”
Lena goes on to explain the motives: “We’ve been doing this together for so long and we sometimes forget that we’re only 21. Through all the experiences, our interests have developed so differently. We had a time when we looked the same. We may be twins, but we have different talents.”

Separation announced
Actually, the fans might have expected the separation of the two, because it has long been noticed that the twins have implemented projects together less often and more alone. The two moved apart last year: “The desire for more independence and for a city life made me move out of home,” revealed Lena to 20 minutes. Now she lives with “extremely nice roommates” in a flat share.
Sister Lisa still lives with her parents in Stuttgart. “At the moment I’m enjoying the peace and quiet at home,” says Lisa. You can also imagine life in the big city, but: “At the moment I’m still doing very well at home.”
For Lena, the option of separate channels did not seem out of the question at the time: “LisaandLena will always remain a common channel. But later it might also be exciting to go your own way with another account.” Lisa, in turn, found: “At the moment I can’t imagine it. Maybe sometime.” A year later, there was now a professional separation – that should now be a relief for both of them.
