Dressage festival ended in tragedy in a Chaco town: in a fight, one gaucho killed another

A 49-year-old man was stabbed to death following an argument during a dressage festival that was taking place in the Chaco town of Puerto Vilelas and, for the crime, the authorities arrested a suspect, police sources reported.

The event occurred on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Avenida San Martín and Calle Colón in the aforementioned city in the province of Chaco.

In that place, according to the witnesses, two men began to argue and attacked each other with bladed weapons.

As a result of the fight, one of them, identified as Oscar Enciso (49), died as a result of the injuries he received.

For his part, the 36-year-old assailant was arrested at the scene and transferred to the Eva Perón Hospital, where he was admitted with stab wounds to his left thigh and right leg. Police seized the weapon and a brown-furred horse, they said.

“They began to argue and, later, they attacked each other with bladed weapons,” said Diario Chaco.
