The format Everyone in the kitchen had been a hit with the audience during the confinements. M6 has therefore called Cyril Lignac to the rescue, who will also soon be found in a new season of the Best pastry chef. The famous chef will offer, from Monday to Friday, his best summer recipes from his summer kitchen, located in the south of France.
On the menu for the first week of recipes: breaded fish burger with tartar sauce, aubergine caviar, marinated tuna sandwich-roll, grilled toast of candied tomatoes, peach granita… Seasonal recipes!
From cooking to camping
His sidekick, a little clumsy cook Jérôme Anthony, will always be around. He will go, for his part, to meet viewers on vacation, to share with them a part of their summer at the beach, at the campsite, at the market… He too will, of course, be back in the kitchen. He will set up his pans in the middle of holidaymakers to reproduce to the letter – or almost – the recipes of Cyril Lignac.
Every evening, they will invite families to film themselves and participate live from their homes in the development of the recipe from a distance. Some will even join Cyril Lignac and Jérôme Anthony to cook together.
If, in previous seasons, many celebrities had participated with the chef or remotely in the show, no surprise guest has yet been announced by M6. Will Cyril Lignac save the box of access prime time of the Six in the middle of August? The chain is betting on it.
An audience card during confinement
We remember the launch of the program Tous en cuisine, a little randomly, on a Saturday evening in March 2020, during confinement, on M6. Simple and easy to reproduce recipes, a concept that felt good during this gloomy period. This live cooking class directed by Cyril Lignac became a daily occurrence the following Tuesday, and mayonnaise instantly took hold between the darling chef of M6 and the viewers. The show became a real date and broke audience records, with 2.1 million people watching their television on average and peaks at 2.4 million. The show has also returned to the air several times since its inception. During its last broadcast, during the Christmas holidays, it had attracted 1.36 million viewers on average between November 28 and December 30, 2022, according to Médiamétrie.
