The DGO announced a novelty to commemorate the National Day of the Brazilian Documentary – celebrated on the 7th of August. The streaming TV platform created a special selection of national productions focused on portraying universes of Brazilian reality.
The date was created by the Brazilian Association of Documentarists (ABD) and is a tribute to the birthday of Bahian filmmaker Olney Alberto São Paulo, arrested and tortured during the military dictatorship.
