Absent for a little over a month, Liv Morgan had a shoulder injury and several WWE employees feared that the wrestler would have to be absent at least for the summer season.
But good news, the one who defeated Ronda Rousey to become SmackDown champion is already back.
And speaking of Ronda Rousey, she and Shayna Baszler finally unified the WWE and NXT Women’s Tag Team Belts once morest Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn on last Friday Night SmackDown.
After the victory of the two Horse Women of MMA, Raquel Rodriguez came to claim her rematch for the titles they never lost, before Liv Morgan made her comeback to everyone’s surprise.
WWE’s first Queen of the Ring, Zelina Vega, recently joined Superstar Crossover for an in-depth interview on all things professional wrestling, which included the former queen of the ring reflecting on her duet with Carmella. The duo had been formed in 2021 and held the Women’s Tag Team Titles until WrestleMania 38. The two have now gone their separate ways even as Carmella has barely been seen once more.
Vega reveals that much of what she and Carmella ended up doing on screen happened organically, and that at some point they wanted to replicate vignettes made by Los Guerreros (Chavo & Eddie Guerrero), an idea that sadly never materialized.
Even what happened with Carmella and I, none of this was planned. But mostly with her it happened so organically and I liked that because with her and I we planned, once we got together we had some ideas as far as you remember when Eddie and Chavo (Guerrero) were doing a bunch of really cool and funny vignettes back then? It was kind of our idea as to where we wanted to take it and everything, so yeah, and who knows what will end up happening in the future, but those are just some of the places where we wanted to go and that we wanted to take and I mean, who knows? Who knows?
