Last August 2nd, Microsoft released Build 23516 on the Dev Channel, as a new test version of Windows 11. And as is usually the case with each edition of the operating system, more flaws may appear and are reported by users. Now, a bug has been confirmed by the Redmond giant.

The company has updated its release notes to cite an issue reported by some Insiders. According to them, the new compilation is capable of generating problems with the taskbar, which may disappear following installing the update.

According to the company, it was possible to obtain mixed results when reproducing the problem. Thus, the spread “proved to be inconsistent”. Even so, she gave tips to mitigate the flaw.

One of the solutions is to leave the PC idle for 5 to 6 minutes. After the period, users revealed to have heard a notification that precedes the return of the taskbar. Another method is to restart the device – something that does not always resolve the error. To complete, you can revert the update to the previous build, in the Windows Recovery Environment.

Still according to Microsoft, developers are investigating the problem and hope to resolve it definitively in a future update – for now, with no deadline to be released to affected Insiders.
