Since the start of the Ronquières Festival, the weather hasn’t really been good. After a lackluster day on Friday, Saturday was much more catastrophic since the sunny spells of the day before had given way to continuous rain. For this Sunday, the situation should improve in the evening. Before that, periods of showers are notably expected but should become less frequent following 3 p.m.
Farid from Météo Mons once once more takes stock of the weather on this Sunday of the festival. “Autumn atmosphere this Sunday morning with weather still a bit chilly. The wind will then shift to the northwest. We can therefore expect a semblance of improvement this Sunday followingnoon from 3-4 p.m. when the showers will become less frequent. Many rinses will however still be expected before giving way to dry weather on Sunday evening.
It will therefore be necessary to be patient before seeing the weather improve. Boots and ponchos will once once more be the best allies of festival-goers who come to applaud The Prodigy, Shaka Ponk, Franz Ferdinand, Benjamin Biolay, Rori and many others. The organizers expect a slightly smaller crowd than the first two days, around 25,000 spectators.
