Almost a year ago, Kayla Thomas decided to create her own sportswear brand. This Australian businesswoman has therefore launched Reakt Apparel, a concept that has met with little success.
Recently, as she is now used to, Kayla received an order for several items from her online store. However, she is pleasantly surprised when she checks the delivery address since the buyer does not live very far away. Faced with this new situation for her, the businesswoman decides to offer a personalized service by delivering the order of three sports tops herself. “I said to myself: it’s local, she goes to my old club, we have common followers. It’s going to be nice, ”she explains in a video posted on TikTok.
She was far from imagining the rest of the story. Because only a few hours following its delivery, an email was waiting for him. A message far from pleasant since the buyer told him that an item was missing from his order. “I thought: how is this possible? Did I make a mistake? I doubted myself,” says Kayla.

Not doubting for a second the good faith of her interlocutor, Kayla immediately wanted to repair her mistake by sending a new garment to the buyer. Except that one detail alerted the businesswoman: the lady no longer wanted the purchased black top but preferred a white one.
This unexpected response prompted Kayla to investigate in her own way. This one therefore searched the social networks and that it was not his surprise: “She was there, the same day with the black top which was apparently missing from her order. A post where she tagged me but that I mightn’t see because her account was in private and we don’t follow each other. It wasn’t until I sent a follow request and she accepted that I got to see the photo,” she explains in her video.
