Alzheimer’s disease is a chronic disease characterized by the gradual death of nerve cells in certain parts of the brain. Outwardly, this is manifested by the loss of cognitive abilities, and in the last stages – dementia. Scientists are aware of the changes that occur inside dying brain cells, but have not yet found a single cause that triggers this process.

Therapist Varvara Rameeva says that early onset of the disease is considered cases when Alzheimer’s disease is registered before the age of 65 years.
