Blizzard has released new trailers for the upcoming Overwatch 2: Invasion update. First, we were revealed the identity of a mysterious hacker who interfered with Overwatch 2 broadcasts for some time. And it turned out to be John Cena: a former wrestler and a famous the actor played the role of Enigma in the campaign for the Invasion event. However, he will not become the character of the game yet, but the developers promise to meet him in the future. The trailer for Overwatch 2: Fight the Invasion was dedicated to the upcoming PvE missions. In the new event, the Null Sector will fall on cities around the world. And the Overwatch task force is sent to fight the threat. They have to face powerful enemies, and their combined efforts may not be enough to repel the invasion. In addition, the developers dedicated the new Calling cinematic trailer to one of the Overwatch heroes, Sojorn. So far, you can only watch it in the game, but fans have already pulled the video and publish it on YouTube. In honor of the premiere of the new short film in Overwatch 2, a special mini-event is taking place. During it, players can complete four challenges by playing multiple matches. There are rewards for them: the best moment of the Optics match, the Laughter emote, the Back to Fight graffiti, and the Avenger badge. The event will end with the start of the new season, on August 10 at 21:00 Moscow time.
