Niamey – After the coup in Niger, France wants to leave its military in the West African country. A possible withdrawal of the soldiers is not on the agenda, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna told the radio station France Info on Saturday. After last week’s coup d’état, the new junta terminated military cooperation with the former colonial power.
