With Asia Cup and ODI World Cup just around the corner, Indian spinner Kuldiya Yadav is in good form right now. The player who performed well for India including the 2019 ODI World Cup was then dropped from the team due to poor form. The opportunities for the star gradually decreased. Even when the spin duo Chahal became a key part of the Indian team, Kuldeep was not considered by the management. But Kuldeep arrived following making changes including bowling and working properly and he became an important part of the team.
Kuldeep did not get proper support from the Indian team and his former Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders, during a slump in form. Now, Kuldeep’s childhood coach Kapil Pandey has blamed the KKR management for the spinner’s dip in form.
“The problems started when KKR didn’t give him a chance. But he continued to work hard. I have seen him practice from 6 pm to 12 pm. He suffered a lot during that time. Anyway, the change in pace has benefited the player,” Pandey told The Indian Express.
“Despite working hard, the management did not give him opportunities to prove himself. That is the problem. If you put it on the field, you can show your ability. I used to console Kuldeep when he called me and expressed his sadness. Anyway, all is well now. ” concluded the coach.
Anyway, the star has already confirmed his place in the World Cup team.
