A TIM continues to expand its coverage 5G throughout Brazil, recently activating the signal in 34 more cities, spread across the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco, Bahia and Pará. With this advance, the operator now covers a total of 102 municipalities. This week, 90 neighborhoods in Minas Gerais also gained access to technology.
TIM expands 5G coverage in 34 more cities in Brazil
Standing out in São Paulo, TIM added 5G coverage to 16 important cities, including Ribeirão Preto, Piracicaba, Limeira, Indaiatuba, Barretos, Barueri, Diadema and Praia Grande, among others, in addition to the metropolitan region. This results in a total of 25 municipalities paulistas with TIM’s 5G coverage, including the capital.
With one infrastructure of 6,400 licensed antennas, TIM is significantly expanding 5G availability in the country. The operator estimates that its antennas represent almost half of the total installed throughout Brazil.
