The circular range is displayed first before the curse is activated, and the curse of the prophet begins to spread to the range second. Melee characters are practically difficult to avoid, and long-distance characters should move out of range immediately following confirmation. If you are cursed, continuous dot damage comes in, but you can remove the curse by going to the liberated soul that is summoned right following the curse. The range of the curse gets wider following phase 2. If you get cursed, release the curse from the liberated soul.
