In Diablo 4 you can probably play with characters from the Eternal Realm in Season 1. Transmission requires only a small exploit.
Irvine, California – Diablo 4 has been a mess since Season 1 launched. The last patch completely derailed the game in the eyes of many fans, with nerfs everywhere. But the problems started before Season 1. A thorn in the side of many players was the need to create a completely new character for the season. This is exactly what you can now avoid, if only with the help of a bug.

Diablo 4: Play old characters in Season 1 – This is how the bug works
Transfer character in Season 1: Actually, Blizzard sticks to the same system for Seasons in Diablo 4 as in Diablo 3. If you want to play current, seasonal content, you have to create your own character. Regular characters in the so-called Eternal Realm, on the other hand, should not have access to the new content.
For some Diablo 4 fans, this tradition is a disaster. But there is a silver lining in hell’s horizon, because a bug now makes characters from the Eternal Realm playable in Season 1.
Diablo 4 Updates:
Diablo 4: Best strategies once morest the Butcher
Max out Diablo 4: Battle Pass
Diablo 4: Build Tier List for Season 1
Diablo 4: New Best Hunter Build in Season 1
Diablo 4: New Best Necromancer Build in Season 1
Diablo 4: Bester Druide Level Build in Season 1
This is how the bug works: YouTuber Glitch Unlimited has found a way to carry over old characters into the current season of Diablo 4. All you need is a character in the Eternal Realm that you want to play in the season, a seasonal character to swap in, a friend with a seasonal character – and a little rough handling with the Ethernet cable.
Enter the game as a group with seasonal charactersUnplug the Ethernet cable from your computer or consolePlug the cable back in as soon as you receive an error message in the gameYou will be thrown back to the main menu, now select your character from the Eternal RealmWhen reentering the game you reload into the seasonal realm because the game reconnects you with the group
The bug brings you some advantages for your characters in Diablo 4. You can sell items from your Eternal character to increase the gold for the seasonal character, or get seasonal aspects for your old character. Above all, you can properly level up Eternal characters by taking the XP boost as a seasonal boon. Taking advantage of the bug might definitely pay off.
This is the catch: But there are a few problems behind the actually very practical bug. For one, the bug will be lifted as soon as you finish Diablo 4. So you have to repeat the bug over and over once more if you want to play with your old character in the seasonal realm. On the other hand, you should be careful with the bug, Blizzard is not squeamish regarding such exploits and likes to swing the ban hammer. You don’t use any additional bots, apps or cheats here, but you never know.

Blizzard vowed improvement for Diablo 4: In the end, the practical bug shouldn’t last long in Diablo 4. As soon as Blizzard gets wind of it, which the studio may have already done, a fix for the bug will probably come. A huge buff patch for Diablo 4 Season 1 has already been announced, and it cannot be ruled out that the realm swap will also be erased with the upcoming update.
