From July 21st to 23rd, the Harley Days Dresden in the Saxon state capital will celebrate the 120th birthday of the legendary US brand. On the festival grounds of the exhibition center at Messering 1, a tent city with a “Milwaukee Circle” for seeing and being seen awaits guests during the three event days. In the adjacent shopping area, authorized dealers and traders offer clothing and motorcycle accessories as well as various two-wheeled one-offs.
Numerous live gigs on the Main Stage – including the celebrated band The New Roses – provide the appropriate soundtrack for the event on all three festival days. The “Harley on Tour” truck, loaded with new US bikes that can be test-ridden to your heart’s content, is also on site. At a bike show on Saturday, the most beautiful custom bikes will be judged by a specialist jury and on Sunday the bikers will do their big farewell tour through the Elbe metropolis.
If you want to get to know the best motorcycle routes around Saxony’s capital on your own Harley, you can take part in one of the guided tours. The local tour guides from the Dresden Chapter of the HOG take their groups to the Saxon Wine Route, Saxon Switzerland and Upper Lusatia.
