Doha – Complaints regarding bikes and e-scooters being stolen. The theft took place in Mansoora, Najma and Al Rayan. The owners lodged a complaint with the police. Some of the expatriates whose e-scooter was stolen in the last few days had posted on Facebook regarding this.
Most of the people’s scooters and bikes were stolen from the parking lot of their residences and metro stations. Bicycles and e-scooters need extra safety.
Many also reminded that the vehicle should be parked in a CCTV monitoring system to avoid theft. With bikes and e-scooters becoming a cheap and convenient means of travel, thefts are frustrating expatriates. Scooter and bike owners are hoping that the authorities will take action as soon as possible.
