The gathering of the American team in preparation for the World Cup is scheduled for this Thursday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Team USA is attending a training camp August 3-6 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) before facing Puerto Rico on August 7. The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is one of the largest arenas in the country with a capacity of 20,000 seats and is located on the Las Vegas Strip.
The United States team is made up of Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic), Mikal Bridges (Brooklyn Nets), Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers), Josh Hart (Knicks), Brandon Ingram (New Orleans Pelicans), Years Jackson Jr. (Memphis Grizzlies), Cam Johnson (Brooklyn Nets), Walker Kessler (Utah Jazz), Bobby Portis (Milwaukee Bucks) et Austin Reaves (Los Angeles Lakers).
The team will be led by the head coach Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors). He will be assisted by Mark Few (Gonzaga University), Tyronn Lue (LA Clippers) and Erik Spoelstra (Miami Heat).

After Las Vegas, the USA Basketball Showcase will feature matches once morest Slovenia on August 12 and Spain on August 13 in Malaga, Spain. Later in the month, the team will face Greece and Germany on August 18 and 20, respectively, in Abu Dhabi.
At the World Cup, the United States will be in a group with Greece, Jordan and New Zealand.
