Music director M. Jayachandran says that a strong lobby is working once morest him in the field of Malayalam film music. Jayachandran said that many people have kept him away from films, but he has his own path and will move forward on that path. He was speaking at a meet the press event in Thiruvananthapuram. Jayachandran also explained regarding the controversies related to winning the state film award.
‘It is my love for music that made me eligible for the state film award this time as well. I have been lucky enough to receive state awards before. I believe that music has great invisible power. Not going following controversies. I am not part of any lobby. But there is a powerful lobby in cinema. As a result, I have been left out of many films. Even recently it happened.
But I have Ishwar’s lobby. My award this year is proof of that. I am the person who walks alone in the cinema. There is a path for me. I will move forward with it. If I want to get opportunities in films, I have to challenge myself every moment and keep creating hits’, said M. Jayachandran.
