Since the election of Nigeria’s new president, Bola TINUBU, last May, relations have normalized with neighboring Benin. As proof, at the end of last June, the Nigerian authorities announced the lifting of all customs restrictions following 3 years of blockage. Now, the re-export of used vehicles from Benin is once more authorized. Ditto for products like rice and other foodstuffs. A report by Emmanuelle Sodji and Raphaël N’Talé.
