This weekend, nearly twenty Quebecers will perform on the various stages of Osheaga at Parc Jean-Drapeau. Here are five names not to be missed:
1. Sarahmea
The rapper, whose reputation is well established, will perform Friday on the boards of the Valley Scene. The singer-songwriter and performer notably made herself known to the public with her single “T’as pas cru”, which was shortlisted for the 2019 SOCAN Songwriting Prize, the same year she was crowned Revelation of the year by ADISQ. She has since distinguished herself on the Quebec hip-hop and pop scene for her titles “Fuego” and “Quand la route est longue”. In addition to having adapted his song “My Skin” into a book, the artist was also a judge on the show “La fin des weakens”, broadcast on Télé-Québec.

2. Alicia Moffet
The musical universe of this ex-candidate of “La Voix” combines the power of pop so well with the rich and complex sounds of R&B and soul. The author-composer who will host the next edition of “Occupation double” with her husband this fall, obtained a platinum disc for her duet with FouKi, “Ciel”, and a gold disc for “Lullaby”. She also accumulates tens of millions of plays online thanks to her projects “Billie Ave.” and “Intertwine”.
She will perform, this Saturday at the start of the program, on the same stage as Billie Eilish.

3. Pelch
Performing on the green stage, Saturday around 2 p.m., the singer-songwriter captivates audiences with his moving performances and compositions. He released, in March 2022, his first EP entitled “Looking Around”, which has since accumulated more than 10 million plays on digital platforms. The EP was followed by several singles, including ‘Come Back Now’, ‘Sad Happy Ending’ and ‘Who You Love’. He also followed Alicia Moffet during her last tour, where he performed a few opening acts.

4. Milk & Bone
The electropop duo formed by Laurence Lafond-Beaulne and Camille Poliquin (KROY) will be making their third appearance at Osheaga. Both musicians for Ariane Moffatt at the start of their career, they have since bewitched with their vocal harmonies, their sincere and heartbreaking texts.
The duo have amassed over 75 million streams and have toured across Canada, Europe and the United States. In addition to their activities under the Milk & Bone banner, the duo has provided music for two Cirque du Soleil shows and several feature films, including King Dave by Podz, which earned them a Canadian Screen Award nomination.

5. Jonathan Roy
The singer has shown a great evolution in recent years, both personally and as an artist.
