Iñaki Basiloff had a good start in the Para-swimming World Cup that takes place in Manchester. The man from Neuquén was third in the 200 meter test and nailed a time of 2m32s32/100 in the SM7 category. “It was not what I expected, but hey… Tomorrow, to continue,” Iñaki wrote on his Instagram account, to confirm that he is always demanding with his productions.

After the tremendous level he showed in Madeira (Portugal) in the 2022 World Cup, the swimmer from River and the Cipolletti club raised the bar and always goes for more. He will surely try to repeat the podium in the 100 and 400 meters, his remaining commitments on English soil.

A good Argentine harvest on the first day

There were three medals obtained by the Argentine National Team in the first day of tests. Like Basiloff, Matas de Andrade and Nicolás Rivero were third in their tests and secured the bronze medal.

De Andrade had a time of 1.18 in the 100 backstroke category S6, while Nicolás Rivero stood out in the 100 chest with a mark of 1.46.08 in SB4.

In addition, Daniela Giménez (SB9) finished eighth in the 100 breaststroke; Elizabeth Noriega (S5) finished 11th in the 50 free; Analuz Pellitero, ninth, and Nadia Báez, twelfth, both in 50 freestyles.
