Boulevards lined with palm trees, sun and Hollywood glamor – all of this was reflected in Kilian Kerner’s “Beverly Hills 2023” collection.

The W.E4.FASHION DAY entered the second round today in the impressive Verti Music Hall. Kilian Kerner presented his latest collection “Beverly Hills 2023” in front of a backdrop of almost 800 enthusiastic guests, including prominent personalities such as Thomas Hayo, Tilman Pörzgen and Lina Larissa Strahl in the front row. The Berlin designer wowed the audience with a breathtaking 125 meter long catwalk and 60 extraordinary looks.

Kilian Kerner brings the Beverly Hills vibe to Berlin

After an inspiring vacation in LA in January, Kilian Kerner managed to bring the glamorous Beverly Hills vibe to Berlin. According to the designer: “The go-for-it mentality, the love of life and the enormous freedom.” And he absolutely succeeded! The Berlin designer once once more managed to capture a mood perfectly and translate it into fashion. The collection consisted of 49 women’s and 11 men’s looks that impressed with progressive street styles and seductive evening wear. Kilian Kerner surprised with his extraordinary mix of materials, which combined luxurious fabrics with strong color combinations and popcorn prints to turn classic cuts with breaks and fine details into sophisticated day and evening looks.

Transparency played a major role this season, with Kilian Kerner cleverly using sheer fabrics with rhinestones and applied flowers, sequins on denim, tulle and imitation leather. With ultra-low-slung trousers, spectacularly short skirts, transparent dresses and extra large blazers, he presented a cheeky, seductive and provocative collection that did justice to LA glamour. One of the highlights was a particularly large, deep red oversized blazer, which was combined with a houndstooth denim mini dress and black fishnet stockings. Other typical elements of the collection were gathered waistbands, half and turned collar solutions and long evening dresses. Kerner shows once more that less is often more.

In addition to the impressive fashion show, Kilian Kerner caused a stir with the designers Rebekka Ruetz, Danny Reinke and Marcel Ostertag with their “WE FIGHT CANCER” campaign. This was implemented in cooperation with the DKMS and the German Cancer Aid and presented for the first time in the VERTI Music Hall. At the end of the exciting day, Kilian Kerner gave an emotional speech to encourage more people to register with the DKMS. The previously glittering, glamorous hall was suddenly silent.

Kilian Kerner once once more demonstrated his talent as a gifted esthete who knows how to capture an atmosphere and transform it into unique fashion. With the “Beverly Hills 2023” collection, he has once once more proven that he is one of the leading designers in the German fashion world.
