Wotschke: The federal government must think of the next generation when it comes to pension negotiations. We warn once morest expensive pre-election gifts on the backs of young people.
Vienna (OTS) – The JUNOS warn once morest pension gifts before the annual pension negotiations and once once more call for a pension revolution. Above all, you see Secretary of State for Youth Plakolm as responsible.
“If our generation is to receive a pension as well, then sustainable reforms are finally needed. The system cannot and will not handle any increase that goes beyond the law. The annual pension negotiations must not end once more without a plan for sustainable reforms,” said JUNOS- Federal President Wotschke.
Specifically, the JUNOS are once once more calling for a sustainable pension reform that includes an automatic pension scheme and the introduction of share pensions. “Nice Sunday speeches alone do not help us. Austria finally needs a new generation contract. We must not let another year go by full of pension gifts and without sustainable reforms,” said JUNOS Federal President Wotschke.
“Unfortunately, due to election tactics, most parties do not dare to seriously address the problems and lack of sustainability of our pension system. This non-action on the subject of pensions is irresponsible towards the younger generation! Above all, the Secretary of State for Youth, Plakolm, is now called upon to stand up for the younger generation. Away from pension populism and towards sustainable reforms,” Wotschke finally appealed to the black-green federal government.
