Initially set for July 31 at midnight, the deadline for filing a declaration of real estate has been postponed to Tuesday August 1 inclusive. The General Directorate of Public Finance (DGFiP) invoked “a flow problem” on the tax site, whose “servers have a little trouble” absorbing the declarations.

Owners of real estate benefit from an additional day, until August 1 inclusive, to declare their property to the tax authorities due to the saturation of servers, we learned on Monday from the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP ).

Questioned by AFP, the DGFiP invoked “a flow problem” on the tax site whose “servers have a little trouble” absorbing the declarations, inviting taxpayers to “try once more”. The deadline had already been pushed back by a month, from June 30 to July 31.
