Like every Sunday, the Father Mario Tenti shared his gospel and this time he did it with the text “Only God can fill the heart of the human being” from the book of Matthew chapter 13, verses from 44 to 52.
“Jesus spoke in parables to avoid all messianic propaganda, that is, so that the disciples and the people in general do not misunderstand what his mission was, that of coming to save humanity through service, love and not to restore the Kingdom of Israel from the political-military point of view”began by saying the Father.
“Saint Augustine said that ‘God has created us for himself and that our hearts are restless until they rest in God’. That is our heart, the heart of the human being. A heart that yearns for happiness and eternity, that has been created for love, goodness, beauty and, however, sometimes our hearts look for that happiness in good things in the world, but that do not fill us and that always leave us a great void”he continued.
In this context, Father Tenti maintained: “It is important to realize that everything in life is related to the Lord’s side. You can leave everything to follow Jesus”.
