The race of Medicine at San Pablo-Tthe first private secular university in the region of the country, offers a personalized teaching system so that students can comfortably hold classes, in classrooms and laboratories with the latest technology and with a system of eight students per teacher in the basic cycle, five students per teacher in the clinical cycle and three students per teacher in the mandatory final practice scheduled by commission, thus allowing each one to have the necessary material for their classes and excellent teachers who, with an oiled tutorial system, carry out an exhaustive follow-up of future doctors.
The Institute for Health and Quality of Life proposes to train professionals capable of performing in an interdisciplinary manner in the area of health, with a comprehensive scientific-humanistic education and a deep ethical vision of the value of life. Likewise, it aspires to develop the different fields of academic activity typical of Health Sciences. USP-T seeks to instill in its students a transcendent vision of the professional role.
The degree takes place over six years with practices and classes in public hospitals and private sanatoriums. In the sixth year, the scheduled compulsory final practice has an outstanding personalized pre-professional medical activity in medical clinic, surgery, gynecology-obstetrics internships and finally a rural internship at the Hospital de San Pablo y Lules. It is currently coordinated by prominent doctors and academics, doctors Horacio Deza and Marta Valverde. It should be noted that since the creation of this career it has 75 graduates, all of them are working in the public or private health system and 78% work as local, national and even foreign resident doctors.
Income 2024
At the University of San Pablo-T, an entrance exam is taken, without exception, and the number of entrants is limited, only the best 80 are selected. The entrance exam in 2024 contemplates the subjects of Text Compression, Biology and Chemistry. The qualification is weighted to 100% of the marks of the three exams and they are awarded with a computerized system of high operational capacity that allows a fast and efficient correction.
Enrollment is already enabled and includes a preparatory course that will begin in September of this year, while the exams to determine income will be in March of next year.
