Al-Arabiya channel prepared a report on the dates of the Qassim region, which are distinguished by their quality and exported abroad, especially to European countries.
Youssef Al-Dakhil, who specializes in marketing dates abroad, said that Al-Qassim dates are already invading the European market, and there is an attempt to enter new countries such as Norway and Sweden, in addition to Spain.
He pointed out that the rate of increase in export rates amounts to 20%, as the Kingdom’s exports of dates to countries around the world amount to 320 thousand tons annually.
He stressed that there are two varieties that are exported to Europe, namely, salvation and diabetes, and the European market represents regarding 50% of the Kingdom’s total exports.
