The Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, said today, Friday, that those who carried out the bombing in the Sayyidah Zeinab area in Damascus are takfiri terrorists, whose goal is clear.

In a speech he delivered on the night of the tenth of Muharram, Sayyed Nasrallah confirmed that the fans of Ahl al-Bayt in Syria will celebrate tomorrow, the “tenth of Muharram,” with greater intensity than any previous year.

Yesterday, an explosion caused by an explosive device on a motorcycle in the Sayeda Zeinab area, south of Damascus, resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.

Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that “the Islamic resistance in Lebanon has not wanted to compete with anyone in money or power since its establishment,” pointing out that “in our jihad and political struggle, we are not looking for authority to rule over people, nor to rule over them. We are not looking for positions.”

He explained that being in power is a way to protect people, serve them and solve their problems, noting that “hunger today extends to Western countries, and thousands of migrants today die at sea, and this matter is one of the injustices in the world.”

Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the injustice, torment and oppression that prevail in the world is unprecedented in the history of mankind, stressing that “the world today is controlled by a small group of billionaires, who are ready to fabricate wars and spread epidemics.”

And the Secretary-General of Hezbollah pointed out that “the title of our marches tomorrow will be the defense of the Two Weighty Things, and we will go out in defense of the Book of God, in exchange for those who insist on insulting it.”

He added, “We will go out, in our marches tomorrow, in defense of all the oppressed, the tortured, and the oppressed, in Palestine, Yemen, Bahrain, and all over the world.”

It is noteworthy that last week, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the attitude towards insulting the Noble Qur’an must evolve, by severing diplomatic relations with Sweden.

Before that, he denounced the “new ugly act” that took place in Sweden, which offended the Holy Qur’an, and the Swedish authorities’ permission to offend the sanctities.
