OpenCore Legacy Patcher fixes a bug on 2011 Macs with macOS 13.5

If you have a Mac that is no longer officially supported by Apple for some reason, you’re probably familiar with OpenCore Legacy Patcher. This software open source makes it possible to install recent versions of macOS – for example Ventura – on Macs that cannot normally access the operating system.

2011 Macs work with macOS 13.5

And version 0.6.8 fixes a bug related to version 13.5 of macOS, released a few days ago (version which also has some residual problems).

Indeed, Macs equipped with an Intel GPU from the HD 3000 family – essentially Macs released in 2011, therefore – posed problems with the macOS update. The latest iteration of OpenCore Legacy Patcher therefore solves the problem and allows you to install Apple’s patch without any particular problem. The list of changes for OpenCore Legacy Patcher 0.6.8 is quite long, with many small improvements or bug fixes.

We can note a correction on the support of 10 Gb/s Ethernet cards for owners of Mac Pro 2010 or – more surprisingly – the removal of a Mac from the compatibility list. This is the MacBook4.1, also known as the Early 2008. This is one of the last white polycarbonate MacBooks and the removal of references to this model is because it was never really supported properly.
