First Bavarians on their way south on Friday evening (+ graphic summer travel)
Vienna (OTS) – Already on Friday evening there was a lot of traffic from Bavaria on the transit route via the Walserberg (A1) – Tauern Autobahn (A10) – and A11 to the Karawanken tunnel. “At 6:30 p.m. the traffic jam on the Walserberg stretched back 9 kilometers. In front of the Karawanken tunnel, you waited 35 minutes to leave the country,” according to the ÖAMTC mobility information. There was also heavy traffic on the Fernpass route (B179) and on the Ost Autobahn (A4) in front of the construction site near Bruck an der Leitha. In Slovenia, the construction site near Maribor caused delays.
