From battlefield to common ground. It’s far from a secret: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been engaged in a battle at loggerheads since the announcement of their divorce in 2019. And it’s Miraval, their Provencal castle where their famous rosé wine is produced, which crystallizes all the tensions.
End of the showdown?
According to the American site TMZ and the British tabloid Daily Mail, the two Hollywood stars would now like to find an amicable solution. Court documents in the possession of the two media prove it. Brad Pitt is said to have even appointed a temporary manager in charge of the day-to-day management of the wine estate.
”Given the dispute between Nouvel LLC (controlled by Stoli boss Yuri Shefler) and Mondo Bongo LLC (controlled by Brad Pitt), Château Miraval and its director requested and obtained the appointment of a provisional administrator by the court of trade in Draguignan, to enable the company and its manager to continue to develop the business and its essential partnership with the Perrin family until the said dispute is resolved, in the interest of Château Miraval, its managers, employees, partners and subsidiaries”, confirmed a French source in comments translated by ELLE. Angelina Jolie sold her share of Château de Miraval to Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler in 2022 without telling her ex. A choice that had revived enormous tensions.
